Wonderful selection of topics here! I so love Turrell; mostly experienced at MassMoCA, which also has a room of light. In the film, I was especially taken with the fleeting moment of light flashing from the birds’ wings....

Thank you Jim! Turrell’s work is truly transcendent ✨ And I love that you caught that glimpse of light moment with the birds in the film! 🕊️

Sabrina I loved this months journey into color. The opening color film and music is so lovely. It just washed over me. A beautiful way to start the day.

You write so beautifully. I’m already obsessed with Turrell and the Auster/Calle collaboration and really appreciate your words on them. But now will look at Kandinsky differently for sure!

This was my take on Turrell. Beautiful artist who makes me think + feel so much

Thank you so much! Means a lot ☺️ I really loved your essay on Turrell! This quote particularly resonated “Light has to be seen by the naked eye, felt on the skin; massless, a photon shapes a room.” And I would so love to experience his Roden Crater one day… 🌟
