I am so looking forward to receiving it, Sabrina! What a delightful little surprise. I smile every time I peek at the monoganimals mini-zine on my bookshelf. And I can very much relate to the feeling of peace and quiet that comes when you engage with some analogue creative outlet - I’m certainly super late to the party, but I might try to teach myself how to knit.

🥰 can’t wait to mail your Zine Claudia! Should I send it to the Italy or San Francisco address? 💌 - also never late to the party - I used to knit as a kid 🧶 (my grandma had taught me) and though it’s been years I remember how meditative it felt. I’ve been really wanting to make textile art so I’m thinking of picking up embroidery 🪡

Aaaawwww Sabrina 🥹 If that’s okay with you, Italy would be ideal as I’m here until Christmas time. I can picture you enjoying textile art! Looking forward to hearing about your adventures with embroidery.

"In a society obsessed with productivity, cutting cost and raising profit, this type of action is an artistic rebellion. It’s not about the “bottom-line” but about the top-line – where sensory experience meets memory. It’s an act concerned with creating the utmost beauty and pleasure, both for the maker and the receiver. " Beautiful and i so feel you on this. I aldo feel" untethered" working in he digital space (despite its advantages). Beautiful. Feliz Cumpleaños and thankyou for sharing your flower topped pastry 💖

Thank you so much Melanie! So glad to hear that line resonated with you. It’s so contrary to our culture to take time to create in an analog way - to think beyond the numbers of $ and hours… Grateful for your Seven Senses birthday wishes - so glad to be celebrating in such wonderful company 🌹♥️🌹

Oh yes, blessed be the analog! I agree with you also about writing on the computer, it just doesn’t do the same thing as sitting at a table, hands immersed, eyes gently focused…

It truly is a world of difference - how reading or writing the analog vs. digital way can seem so similar but have such different effects on the body and mind. I feel so soothed by the creation of this Zine and really hope it does the same for the receiver 💌
