Manifesto by Seven Senses
Welcome to Seven Senses, a creative and spiritual exploration of our senses.
My offering:
A curated list of creative works and spiritual practices, to awaken and enliven your senses.
A gift for each sense, for you to: see, hear, smell, taste, touch, balance and envision.
Based on experience – I will only include creative works and resources that I’ve personally experienced and that have been meaningful to me.
Questions, for myself and the collective. I’m not here to provide answers. I’m on a search for greater meaning and a connection to Mystery. There is no room for righteousness, but endless space for curiosity.
My belief:
In the transformational power of art and storytelling.
Art is a universal language. Let’s expand our connection.
A creative act is an act of faith. Art is spiritual.
Our creative work embodies our spiritual practice. Our spiritual practice strengthens our creative work.
It takes time. It takes practice. It takes a community.
Creating is vulnerable. Sharing is revealing ourselves. I’ll strive to do both.
My commitment:
Integrity: to write, create, curate – always guided by my beliefs (listed above).
Honesty (to the best of a human’s ability): no fake, no fluff.
Consistency: I show up for myself and for you. Find me in your inbox every full moon.
Spontaneity: discipline does not mean rigidity. As new ideas surface, you’ll occasionally receive a new moon memo.
Intention: I offer my time and focused energy. Deep presence is love.
Collective: I’ll share both my own creative & spiritual practice and the works of my community.
